• Montare gli alberi a camme
e posizionarli con i lobi (B)
rivolti verso l'esterno.
• La fase del cilindro poste-
riore è corretta quando le
tacche di riferimento (C)
sono allineate al piano testa,
simulando l'azione del ten-
dicatena montato.
• Montare il castelletto della testa
posteriore e serrare le viti (V8)
con la sequenza e coppia indi-
cate.

• Montare il tendicatena, con la
stessa procedura utilizzata per
il cilindro anteriore.
NOTA - Anche per il cilindro posteriore, saranno necessa-
ri almeno 720° (2 giri di rotazione albero motore)
per una completa tensione della catena di distri-
buzione. a messa in fase ultimata, effettuare una
verifica generale iniziando dal cilindro anteriore.
In caso di procedura di messa in fase della di-
stribuzione, eseguita in modo non corretto, la
conseguenza meno critica, sarà la parziale per-
dita delle prestazioni del motore, fino a funzio-
namento anomalo del motore stesso, con ingen-
ti danni meccanici.

NOTE - The rear cylinder also needs at least 720° (2
turns of the driving shaft) for a complete tension
of the valve gear chain. Once phasing is
concluded, carry out a general check, starting
from the front cylinder.
In case the phasing procedure for valve gear is
not performed correctly, the least critical
consequence will be the partial loss of engine
performance, up to an anomalous functioning of
the engine itself, with consequent mechanical
damage.
