37.2 FRENO POSTERIORE
Svuotare il circuito del freno posteriore.
• Porre una bacinella sotto la pinza.
• Svitare la vite raccordo (R) e rimuo-
vere il tubo di trasmissione oleodi-
namica (raccordo orientabile) (1),
comprese le due guarnizioni che
nel rimontaggio, dovranno essere
sostituite.
• Svitare le viti (V2) e rimuovere la
pinza.

Nel rimontaggio del grup-
po pinza, prima di serrare
il raccordo (R), orientare il
raccordo (1) come illustra-
to, in figura.
37.2.1 Pastiglie freno posteriore (sostituzione)
NOTA - Per la sostituzione delle pastiglie del freno poste-
riore è consigliabile rimuovere il gruppo pinza, svi-
tando le viti (V2) (F. 120).
• Rimuovere la clip di sicurezza perno
tenutapastiglie (sul lato interno del
gruppo pinza).
• Sfilare il perno di tenuta pastiglie (A).
• Rimuovere la molletta (B) posta tra
le semipinze.
• Agendo energicamente con un gira-
vite, fra le due pastiglie da sostitui-
re, fare rientrare i pistoncini della pin-
za all'interno di propri allogiamenti.
• Estrarre le pastiglie usurate e sosti-
tuirle.
Utilizzare esclusivamente pastiglie originali.
• Rimontare il gruppo pinza sul motociclo.
• Azionare ripetutamente il pedale del freno
per assestare le pastiglie sotto l'azione del-
la pressione del liquido freni.
Nel momento della riconsegna del
motociclo al proprietario, dopo
avere sostituito le pastiglie dei fre-
ni, avvertirlo che per i prossimi 100
km, si dovranno utilizzare i freni
con moderazione per consentire il
corretto assestamento del materiale
di attrito delle pastiglie.

Drain the rear brake circuit
• Place a container underneath the
brake clipper.
•Loosen the connector screw (R),
R
remove the hydraulic transmission
pipe (movable connector) (1) and
the two gaskets (A). Replace the

gaskets during reassembly.
•Slacken the screws (V2). and
remove the brake clipper.
When reassembling the
brake clipper unit, place the
connector (1) as indicated in
the picture before tightening
the connector (R).

• Remove the brake pad retaining pin
safety clip (located on the outer side
of the brake clipper).
• Extract the brake pad retaining pin (A).
• Remove the clip (B) located between
the two brake clipper halves.
• By means of a screwdriver force the
brake clipper pistons back into their
housing between the two brake pads
to be replaced.
• Remove and replace the worn brake
pads.
Use only original brake pad spare parts.
• Reassemble the brake clipper unit to the
motor-bike.
• Squeeze the brake lever repeatedly in
order to adjust the brake fluid pressure

After replacing the brake pads,
remember to warn the motor-bike
owner to use the brake with care
for the next 100 km in order to let
the brake pad friction material to
adjust properly.
