38. LIQUIDO IMPIANTO FRIZIONE
Durante le operazioni di scarico, immissione e
spurgo, evitare che il liquido venga a contatto
degli occhi o della pelle; in questi casi lavare
abbondantemente con acqua corrente. Evitare
inoltre il contatto con parti verniciate.
• Posizionare il motociclo in modo
stabile e perfettamente in piano.
• Svitare le viti (V) e rimuovere il
coperchio pompa frizione.
38.1 SVUOTAMENTO CIRCUITO
38.1.1 Con dispositivo
"spurgatore"
• Rimuovere il cappuccio della pro-
tezione della valvola di spurgo.
• Collegare alla valvola di spurgo
(1) un dispositivo spurgatore per
freni.
• Allentare la valvola di spurgo e
pompare con lo spurgatore fino
a quando non esce più liquido
dall'impianto.
38.1.2 Senza dispositivo "spurgatore"
NOTA - Nel caso non si disponga di un dispositivo "spur-
gatore" per svuotare il circuito dell'impianto frizio-
ne, procedere come segue:
• Collegare alla valvola di spurgo (1), un tubetto di plastica
trasparente ed immergere l'estremità in un adeguato con-
tenitore.
• Svitare di 1/4 di giro la valvola di spurgo.
• Azionare ripetutamente la leva comando frizione fino alla
completa fuoriuscita del liquido.
• Mantenendo tirata la leva della frizione, serrare la valvo-
la (1) alla coppia indicata.
• Rimontare il cappuccio di protezione.

NOTE - In case the bleeder is not available, follow the in-
• Connect a transparent plastic hose to the bleed valve (1)
and plunge the hose end into a container of adequate
capacity.
• Loosen the bleed valve by 1/4 turn.
• Squeeze the clutch lever repeatedly until all the fluid flows
out of the system.
• Holding the clutch lever squeezed, tighten the valve (1)
to the prescribed torque.
• Remove the protection nipple.

When carrying out the operations required for
the draining or refilling of the system, pay
attention to prevent the fluid to come into contact
with your eyes or skin, in case it does wash
throughtly with current water. Pay attention also
to prevent the fluid to get into contact with the
painted components.
• Make sure that the motor-bike is
in a stable and level position.
• Slacken the screws (V). and
remove the clutch pump cover
guard.
38.1 BLEEDING THE SYSTEM
38.1.1 Using a bleeder
• Remove the bleed valve nipple.
• Connect a brake bleeder to the
bleed valve (1).
• Loosen the bleed valve and act
on the bleeder until the fluid is
pumped off the system.
