IMMISSIONE OLIO MOTORE
Durante i rifornimenti di olio motore (per sostituzione
o semplice rabbocco) se viene utilizzato un imbuto
o attrezzo simile, verificare che sia perfettamente
pulito. L'ingresso di corpi estranei o acqua nel moto-
re, può provocare gravi danni.
Consigli pratici - Dopo lo scarico completo dell'olio esau-
sto, la sostituzione del filtro a cartuccia e la pulizia del
filtro a rete, verificare che il tappo di scarico risulti corret-
tamente serrato. Rimuovere il tappo di carico ed effettuare
il rifornimento con olio:
RACING 4T 10W60 (o compatibile: oltre alle sigle API
SG o SJ deve essere riportata la specifica JASO MA)
(circa 3.600 cc) fino a raggiungere il livello indicato nel-
l'oblò d'ispezione.
• Chiudere il tappo di carico, avviare il motore e lasciarlo
"girare" al minimo per qualche minuto; verificando che
non vi siano perdite di olio e che la spia sul cruscotto si
spenga dopo qualche secondo dall'avviamento del mo-
tore; in caso contrario, spegnere il motore ed eseguire le
opportune verifiche.
• Ricontrollare il livello dell'olio dopo circa tre minuti dallo
spegnimento del motore.
Non miscelare oli con caratteristiche incompatibili
tra loro, per non provocare danni al motore.
Nel caso non sia disponibile il tipo di olio prescritto,
utilizzarne uno compatibile. La compatibilità è soli-
tamente deducibile da apposite tabelle.

di ogni natura generati dall'olio con caratteristiche diverse
da quello prescritto.
4.
REFUELLING OIL ENGINE
In case you use a funnel or any similar item to refuel
the oil engine (for change or topping up) make sure
they are perfectly clean in order to prevent any foreign
matter or water to get into the engine with consequent
severe damages.
Tips - After draining the used oil completely, changing
the filter cartridge and cleaning the mesh filter, make
sure that the drain plug is properly tighten up. Remove
the refuelling plug and top up with oil:
RACING 4T 10W60 (or a compatible product: make
sure that JASO MA is indicated together with the acronyms
API SG or SJ) (around 3,600 cc) until reaching the max
level indicated on the inspection hole window.

• Fit the refuelling plug back, start the engine and let it idle
for a few minutes while checking for any oil leak. Make
sure that the oil light on the instrument panel goes off
after a few seconds from the engine start-up. If it does
not, switch the engine off and carry out the necessary
checks.
• Check again the oil level after around three minutes from
the engine switching off.
Do not mix different or incompatible oils, this may
damage the engine. In case the indicated oil is not
available, use a compatible product: oil compatibility
is usually indicated by a specific table.
