POMPA FRENI ANTERIORI E
POMPA FRIZIONE
NOTA - Le procedure di smontaggio sono identiche per
entrambe le pompe installate sul manubrio. Le il-
lustrazioni sono riferite alla pompa destra (freni
anteriori).
6.1 RIMOZIONE PER
SOSTITUZIONE MANUBRIO
Nel caso si debba sostituire il manu-
brio o per interventi dove non si renda
indispensabile smontare la pompa com-
pletamente, procedere come segue:
• Svitare la vite inferiore (Vi), svitare la
vite superiore (Vs) e rimuovere il ca-
vallotto di fissaggio (1).
• Rimuovere la pompa (2) e posizionarla in pia-
no (orizzontale) ed in modo
che non si possa rovesciare durante i suc-
cessivi interventi.
• Nel rimontaggio, posizionare il cavallotto (1)
con la freccia rivolta verso l'alto e serrare
prima la vite superiore (Vs), poi la vite infe-
riore (Vi).

6.2 RIMOZIONE PER
SOSTITUZIONE (DELLA POMPA)
Svuotare il circuito oleodinamico dei
freni anteriori e dell'impianto comando
frizione.
NOTA - Per favorire lo svuotamento, rimuovere il coper-
chio (A) della pompa, svitando le viti (E).
Raccogliere il liquido in appositi contenitori per
il successivo smaltimento secondo le vigenti
normative. Il liquido per freni è corrosivo e può
provocare danni personali e deteriorare le parti
verniciate del motociclo.
• Svitare ed estrarre il raccordo (B).
• Rimuovere il tubo (C) e le guarnizio-
ni (D).
• Rimuovere la pompa come descrit-
to in precedenza.

da confezione sigillata.

BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER
AND CLUTCH PUMP
NOTE - In order to disassemble both the master cylinders
located on the handlebar follow the same instruc-
tions. The pictures refer to the right-hand master
cylinder (front brake)
6.1 REMOVING AND REPLACING

Follow the instructions below in case
the handlebar needs to be replaced or
the brake master cylinder needs not
to be removed completely to carry out
a specific service intervention:
• Slacken the lower screw (Vi), the upper

screw (Vs) and remove the bracket (1)
• Remove the brake master cylinder (2)
and place it on a (horizontal) plan in
order to prevent it from tilting while the

service interventions are carried out.
• When reassembling, place the
bracket (1) with the arrow upwards,
first tighten the upper screw (Vs) and
then the lower screw (Vi).

6.2 REMOVING AND REPLACING

Empty the hydraulic system of both

the front brake and the clucth control

systems.
NOTE - To ease this operation, remove the brake master
cylinder plug (A) by undoing the screws (E).
Collect the fluid into special containers and
dispose of it according to the regulations
currently in force. The brake fluid is corrosive
and may cause damage to people or to the
motor-bike painted components.

THE HANDLEBAR
• Slaken and remove the connector
(B).
• Remove the hose (C) and the
gaskets (D).
• Remove the brake master
cylinder as described above.
