36. LIQUIDO IMPIANTO FRENANTE
Durante le operazioni di scarico, immissione e
spurgo, evitare che il liquido per freni venga a
contatto degli occhi o della pelle; in questi casi
lavare abbondantemente con acqua corrente.
Evitare inoltre il contatto con parti verniciate, con
i dischi dei freni e con il materiale di attrito (pa-
stiglie); in questi casi asciugare accuratamente
le pinze e detergere i dischi con il prodotto sgras-
sante.
• Posizionare il motociclo in modo
stabile e perfettamente in piano.
• Svitare le viti (V) e rimuovere il co-
perchio pompa olio (per i freni an-
teriori) e svitare il tappo (A) (per il
freno posteriore).

36.1.1 Con dispositivo
"spurgatore"
• Rimuovere la protezione della
valvola di spurgo.
• Collegare alla valvola di spurgo
(1) della pinza, un dispositivo
spurgatore per freni.
• Allentare la valvola di spurgo e
pompare con lo spurgatore fino a
quando non esce più liquido dal-
l'impianto.

BRAKING SYSTEM FLUID
When carrying out the operations required for
the draining or refilling of the system, pay
attention to prevent the fluid to come into contact
with your eyes or skin, in case it does wash
throughtly with current water. Try to prevent the
fluid from dripping on the motor-bike painted
elements, the brake discs or the friction material
(brake pads). If necessary, dry the brake clippers
with care and wash the brake discs with a
degreasing product.
• Make sure that the motor-bike is in
a stable and level position.
• Undo the screws (V), remove the
oil pump cover guard (for the front
brakes) and slacken the plug (A)
(for the rear brake).

36.1.1 Using a bleeder
• Remove the bleed valve.
• Connect a brake bleeder to the
brake clipper bleed valve (1).
• Loosen the bleed valve and act
on the bleeder until the fluid is
pumped out of the system.
