• Ruotare la chiave (A) in senso orario fino ad ottenere il
perfetto allineamento dei riferimenti (B), marcati sugli in-
granaggi: pignone motore e rinvio distribuzione. In questa
condizione, il pistone del cilindro anteriore, si troverà al
punto morto superiore di combustione. Durante la rota-
zione, sostenere la catena di distribuzione per evitare che
rimanga impigliata all'interno del carter. Per determinare
correttamente il P.M.S. di combustione, avvitare l'attrez-
zo porta comparatore (C) cod. M001.00010.400 al posto
della candela.

CILINDRO ANTERIORE
• Inserire le rondelle ondulate (A) in
modo che risultino divaricate per
consentire l'introduzione degli al-
beri a camme.
NOTA - Gli alberi a camme dei due
cilindri, sono distinguibili
dalle punzonature sul lato
opposto alla catena di di-
stribuzione.
• Montare gli alberi a camme (ini-
ziando da quello di scarico) inse-
rendo i cuscinetti relativi, tra le
rondelle ondulate.
• Rotate the key (A) clockwise until the references (B) are
perfectly aligned, as notched on the gears: engine pinion
and valve gear return. In these conditions, the piston of
the front cylinder is at the top dead center of combustion.
During rotation, hold the valve gear chain to prevent it
from getting entangled inside the protection sump. To
determine the TDC of combustion correctly, screw the
comparator-holding tool (C) cod. M001.00010.400 instead
of the spark plug.

CYLINDER
• Insert the spring washers (A) by
keeping them slightly open in
order to allow fitting the
camshafts.
NOTE - The camshafts of the two
cylinders are different from
the punching on the oppo-
site side of the valve gear
chain.
• Assemble the camshafts (starting
with the unload one) by inserting
their relative bearings between the
spring washers.
