38.2 RIEMPIMENTO CIRCUITO
• Riempire il serbatoio della pompa frizione, con liquido:
BRAKE FLUID DOT4
prelevato da confezione sigillata.
• Azionare ripetutamente la leva della frizione, durante il
rifornimento del circuito.
38.3 SPURGO IMPIANTO FRIZIONE
38.3.1 Con dispositivo "spurgatore"
• Collegare alla valvola di spurgo, il dispositivo "spurgato-
re", tramite il ralativo tubetto trasparente.
• Pompare con lo spurgatore ed allentare la valvola di spur-
go, verificando che il livello nel serbatoio, non scenda al
di sotto del MIN.
• Ripetere fino a quando nel tubetto trasparente, non appa-
iono più bolle d'aria.
• Bloccare la valvola di spurgo.
• Ripristinare il livello del liquido nella vaschetta e chiuder-
la (avvitando le viti del coperchio).
38.3.2 Senza dispositivo "spurgatore"
NOTA - Nel caso non si disponga di un dispositivo "spur-
gatore" per effettuare lo spurgo dell'impianto fri-
zione, procedere come segue:
• Collegare alla valvola di spurgo, un tubetto trasparente.
• Aprire la valvola di spurgo di 1/4 di giro ed azionare la
leva della frizione fino a quando inizierà ad uscire liqui-
do dalla valvola di spurgo.
• Tirare completamente la leva frizione.
Mantenere queste condizioni per alcuni secondi e chiu-
dere la valvola di spurgo.
Non rilasciare la leva della frizione, se la valvola non
è ben serrata.
• Ripetere l'operazione finché dal tubetto trasparente usci-
rà soltanto liquido, privo di bollicine d'aria.
• Bloccare la valvola di spurgo ed inserire il cappuccio di
protezione.
• Livellare il liquido nel serbatoio e rimontare il coperchio.
38.2 FILLING THE CIRCUIT
• Top up the clutch pump reservoir with fluid:
BRAKE FLUID DOT4
taken directly from a sealed container.
• Act on the brake lever or pedal repeatedly while filling the
circuit.
38.3 BLEEDING THE CLUTCH SYSTEM
38.3.1 Using a bleeder
• Connect the bleeder to the bleed valve by means of the
transparent hose.
• Act on the bleeder and loosen the bleed valve making
sure that the fluid level inside the reservoirs never goes
below the MIN. level.
• Repeat this operation until no more air bubbles can be
seen inside the transparent hose.
• Close the bleed valve.
• Restore the fluid level inside the reservoir and close it
(by tightening the cover guard screws).
38.3.2 Without using a bleeder
NOTE - In case the bleeder is not available, follow the in-
structions indicated below in order to bleed the
clutch system:
• Connect a transparent hose to the bleed valve.
• Open the bleed valve by 1/4 turn and act on the clutch
lever until the fluid starts flowing out of the bleed
valve.
• Squeeze the clutch lever completely.
After a few seconds close the bleed valve.
Do not release the clutch lever until the valve is firmly
tightened.
• Repeat the operation until no more air bubbles but fluid
can be seen inside the transparent hose
• Lock the bleed valve and fit the protection nipple.
• Top up the fluid inside the reservoir and fit the cover guard
back.
