Check the spark plug gap (P. 3-8).
SPARK PLUG GAP:
0.6 - 0.7 mm (0.039 - 0.043 in)
Is the gap within the specification?
YES
Clean the spark plug or replace it and
restart the engine (P. 3-8).
Does the engine start?
NO
Check the emergency stop switch
(P. 15-8, 16-35).
Is it normal?
YES
Check the ignition coil (P. 18-25).
Is it normal?
YES
Check the combination switch
(P. 15-8, 16-35).
Is it normal?
YES
Check the main wire harness.
Is it normal?
YES
Check the handle cable or remote
control cable A and B.
Are they normal?
YES
Replace the ECM with a new one and
recheck.
