7) Connect the IAC valve 2P connector and clear the DTC
(P. 5-12).
8) Set the fuel tube on the fuel tube clamp B.
9) Check the idle speed (P. 3-16).
Adjustment without HDS (Dr. H or pocket tester)
1) Disconnect the 4P connector (Red) and connect the
SCS short connector to the DLC (P. 5-43).
2) Disconnect the IAC valve 2P connector (P. 5-73). (The
MIL should come ON.)
3) Release the breather tube from the fuel tube clamp B.
4) Check the idle speed with a commercially available
digital tachometer.
Idle speed

If the measurement is outside the specification,
remove the cap and adjust the idle speed by turning
the idle adjusting screw (P. 5-73).
5) Turn the combination switch OFF and install the cap.
6) Connect the IAC valve 2P connector and reset the
ECM (P. 5-43).
7) Set the breather tube on the fuel tube clamp B.
8) Check the idle speed (P. 3-16).
