4) Turn the alternator rotor counterclockwise further until the
pulser rotor additionally turns by 3 ridges of the gear.

• Turn the alternator rotor counterclockwise. Never turn it
clockwise.

• Do not touch the timing belt tensioner and do not push
the tensioner toward the belt while turning the timing
belt.

5) Holding the pulser rotor in the position described in step 4,

tighten the 10 x 38 mm flange bolt of the timing belt
tensioner to the specified torque.

TORQUE: 45 N . m (4.6 kgf . m, 33 lbf . ft)

6) Install the timing belt tensioner cap.
