1. ENGINE COVER
1 a. REMOVAL
Unlock the locks on the front and rear of the engine cover, and remove the engine cover.

b. RENOVATION

1) Check the engine cover seal for damage or cracks. Remove
the engine cover seal from the engine cover and replace it

with a new one if necessary.

2) Apply the glue (LOCTITE
cover seal at the points shown.

3) Install the engine cover seal on the engine cover.

c. INSTALLATION
Install the engine cover on the outboard motor, and lock the

engine cover on the front and rear sides.
