9. FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM

• TROUBLESHOOTING
When the MIL does not come ON but an engine failure
showing any of the following symptoms occurs, inspect
the system(s) and part(s) in the numbered sequence.
Low pressure fuel supply system
• Hard to start
1. Fuel strainer (Low pressure side) (P. 3-13)
2. Low pressure side fuel line (P. 5-85)
3. Vapor separator (P. 5-99)
• Engine starts but stalls soon
1. Fuel strainer (Low pressure side) (P. 3-13)

• Engine speed is not stable during idle and trolling, or
engine stalls
