les dechasser en frappant.

Attention ! Au remontage, remplir la
cavite du tube transversal du bras
oscillant et les roulements coniques
de graisse Shell-Retinax-A. Pour intro
duce I'axe de I'articulation, visser la
broche 519 dans de filetage interieur
de Faxe et I'ecrou a collet de la
broche dans le filetage de la fourche.
Placer les rondelles d'ajustage entre
Gabel
le moyeu et la fourche ; le jeu longitu
dinal ne doit pas exceder 0,1 mm ; a
fefaut, utiliser des rondelles d'ajus-
age plus fortes.

Front Swinging Arm
(Road Wheel and Shock Absorbers

1. Remove front fender (mudguard).
2. Unscrew SW 24 acorn nut on the left
side, screw pilot pin 519 into swing
ing arm pivat bolt, and pull out or
tap out altogether.

3. With finger remove bearing seal ring,
bagues
thrust bushing and taper roller bear
ing inner race with roller cage, left
and right. Remove taper roller bear
ing outer race only when damaged
by means of a commercial type inter
nal puller and when such a tool is
not available tap race out with a
drift applied on the opposite side.
In the iatter case the bottom cover
ing washer must also be replaced
because of the damages experienced
on removal of the bearing. Do not
mix up any taper roller bearing races
and/or rollers against others.

Caution!

the swinging arm pivot bolt, screw
pilot pin Matra 519 into the inner
thread of the bolt and knurled nut of
pilot pin into the thread of the fork.
When being installed, the swinging
arm bearing should only have a
0.1 mm (.004") side play, otherwise
insert thicker shims.
