INSPECTING THE REVERSE GEAR
Inspect:
• Teeth
• Dogs
Wear/damage → Replace the reverse
gear.
INSPECTING THE BEARING
Inspect:
• Bearing
Pitting/rumbling → Replace.
INSPECTING THE PROPELLER SHAFT
HOUSING
Inspect:
• Propeller shaft housing
Cracks/damage → Replace.
