Charger mains connection

Mains: 92 - 255 V (AC), 15 VA, 50/60 Hz, corresponding to VDE regulations and regulations of the local
electricity company.

Putting the machine into operation

The following section contains basic information and instructions which must be followed to ensure successful
and faultless operation of the equipment. Please observe the sequence of the work steps.
6.1

Connection of the unit

CAUTION!
Ensure that the voltage and frequency of the power supply line corresponds to the values
specified on the identification plate under the charger.
CAUTION!
The mains power cable is to be checked at regular intervals for damage. If the mains power
cable is damaged, replace it with an original spare part from Heraeus Kulzer.

The following must be carried out for initial operation of the unit:
Place the charger (1) on a horizontal surface.
Insert the mains power cable (see paragraph 4.1 Scope of delivery, page 28) into socket (2) on rear side
of the loading tray and connect to socket. The GREEN LED (3) lights up.
DISCONNECTION FROM MAINS!
Check that the mains connection, the installation and the mains power cable are in perfect
working order on a regular basis. If in doubt, disconnect the unit from the mains supply and
have it repaired by qualified personnel. If the mains power cable is damaged, replace it with an
original spare part from Heraeus Kulzer. See paragraph 13 Service, page 41)
