13. FREELEXO CAM data protection notice
Einhell Germany AG is delighted that you are using the FREELEXO CAM robot lawn mower. The pro-
tection of personal data is an important concern for us. Below is a description of the data processed in
general when the equipment is used.
•
Location of the charging station
The location of the charging station is determined by means of GNSS positioning and saved locally
on the robot lawn mower. This is required in order to navigate the mower back to the charging sta-
tion when it has fi nished its mowing work. When servicing is required, this information can be read
out of the equipment physically via the logfi le.
•
Sunrise time and sunset time
Sunrise time and sunset time are determined by means of GNSS positioning and saved locally on
the robot lawn mower. This is necessary so that the equipment can be started only in a time interval
when the camera unit is able to generate images with suffi cient brightness. When servicing is requi-
red, this information can be read out of the equipment physically via the logfi le.
•
Images produced by the camera unit
Images generated by the camera unit are saved locally on the robot lawn mower. This is required by
the system in order to constantly improve the robot lawn mower's algorithm. On the mower you will
fi nd images which were generated during the last 15 minutes of mowing work. This data set is over-
written continuously. No images are generated when the mower is situated in the charging station or
is looking for the charging station. When servicing is required, these images can be read out locally
in order to understand any faults which have occurred. These images are then deleted.
Both the location-specifi c data and the generated images can be deleted from the equipment by you
yourself. In this case you must fi rst switch off the robot lawn mower with the main switch. By simultane-
ously pressing the lock button (for deletion of GNSS data) or the "OK" button (for deletion of camera
images) and switching on the robot lawn mower with the main switch you can delete the saved data. An
acoustic signal will sound on the equipment to confi rm deletion.
Detailed documentation on our data protection guidelines can be found on our homepage under "Data
protection".
