When using this equipment, a number of safety
precautions must be observed to avoid injuries
and damage. Please read the complete operating
instructions and safety information with due care.
Keep these operating instructions in a safe place
so that the information is available at all times. If
you give the equipment to any other person, hand
over these operating instructions and the safety

lity for damage or accidents which arise due to
failure to follow these instructions and the safety

or with this power tool. Failure to adhere to the
following instructions may result in electric shock,
fi re and/or serious injury.
Keep all the safety information and instruc-
tions in a safe place for future use.
Explanation of the symbols used (see Fig. 13)
A. WARNING - Read the operating instructions
before you start using the machine!
B. WARNING - Keep a safe distance away from
the machine when it is in operation!
C. WARNING - Always actuate the locking me-
chanism before carrying out any work on the
machine or before lifting the machine! CAUTI-
ON - Do not touch rotating blades!
D. WARNING - Do not ride on the machine!

E. Protection class II (double-insulated).
F. Store the battery only in dry rooms with an
ambient temperature of +10°C to +40°C.
Place only charged batteries in storage (char-
ged at least 40%).

the removable power supply unit NT24/1 /
PS24/ 1 delivered with this tool.
Important!
Pull out the power plug and disconnect the guide

2.2 Items supplied and unpacking
Please check that the article is complete as
specifi ed in the scope of delivery. If parts are
missing, please contact our service center or the
store where you made your purchase at the latest
within 5 work days after purchasing the article and
upon presentation of a valid bill of purchase. Also,
refer to the warranty table in the service informati-
on at the end of the operating instructions.
Open the packaging and take out the equip-
ment with care.
Remove the packaging material and any
packaging and/or transportation braces (if
present).
Check to see if all the items are present.
Inspect the grass trimmer and accessories for
transport damage.
If possible, keep the packaging until the end
of the guarantee period.
