14) Install a new impeller gasket and impeller cover on the gear
case assembly.
Tighten the sensor nipple to the specified torque, and

install the 5 x 200 mm tube assembly in the gear case
assembly.

TORQUE: 1 N . m (0.1 kgf . m, 0.7 lbf . ft)

15) Apply marine grease to the inner wall of the water pump

liner. Install the pump impeller in the water pump liner with
the woodruff key installation groove toward up and the

pump impeller fins in the direction shown.
Be sure to align the hole in the water pump liner with the
15
hole in the pump impeller this time.

16) Install the water pump liner in the impeller housing by
aligning the projection on the water pump liner with the
20
recess in the impeller housing.
17) Apply marine grease to the outer surface of a new water
pump O-ring and install it on the impeller housing.
