The LEG MAGIC™ is more than just a
personal trainer, it aids in familiarising oneself
with one's body and also offers a nutritional
system. It is a "fi tness for life" plan, which
goes hand in hand with an all-around healthy
life style. This includes regular examinations,
healthy eating habits and exercise for the rest
of your life.
Today fi tness research recommends both
cardiovascular training as well as weight
training for balanced fi tness. Your heart
and your lungs are strengthened with the
cardiovascular workout while simultaneously
improving your endurance and stamina. It will
also help you to lose weight. Weight training
provides your body with lean muscles, which
stimulate your metabolism. And we all know
that a healthy nutritional plan is an important
part of a balanced fi tness programme.
The LEG MAGIC™ system was developed
to help you achieve a balanced fi tness
programme. The system is comprised of
three parts:

1. Weight Training

The LEG MAGIC™ personal trainer was
developed in order to support you in
shaping and strengthening the muscles in
your hips, thighs and legs. We recommend
that you perform the Rosalie Brown's LEG
MAGIC™ workout 3 times a week. But
the frequency and duration of your
workout depends on your current level
of fi tness and your goals.

LEG MAGIC™ System
Please refer to the LEG MAGIC™
workout sections in these operating
instructions in order to determine what is
right for you. In addition, the strengthening
and shaping of your abdominal muscles
and upper body should be performed two
to three times a week.
2. Cardiovascular Workout
The LEG MAGIC™ system includes a
cardiovascular programme. You can
achieve an effective cardiovascular workout
through a multiplicity of activities such
as walking, hiking, swimming or jogging.
We recommend that you perform your
cardiovascular workout at least 3 times a
week for 30 minutes. You can easily swap
the days for the LEG MAGIC™ and
cardiovascular workout. The frequency
and duration of your workout depend on
your current level of fi tness and your
personal goals. Please refer to the section
on the cardiovascular workout on pages 65
to 66 of these operating instructions in
order to determine the workout that is
right for you.
3. Nutrition
The LEG MAGIC™ system also includes
a quick-start diet and a Fitness Quest
nutritional planning manual, which
provides you with healthy nutritional
options.
