Safety Instructions
Consult your physician prior to starting this or any other training
programme. Your physician should support you in determining your target
heart rate corresponding to your age and your physical fi tness. Certain
training programmes or types of machines are not suitable for everyone.
This is particularly important for persons over 35, pregnant women or
people with existent health conditions or disturbances to their equilibrium.
If you take medication, which affects your heart rate, you must be
absolutely sure to consult your physician.
Start off slowly and increase intensity gradually. Even if you are an
experienced athlete, start with the beginner's programme and familiarise
yourself with the exercises before you move on to the more advanced
programmes. For best results, perform all exercises in the tempo shown
on the DVD.
Do not overexert yourself with this or another training programme.
Listen to your body and respond to any reactions, which you have.
You must learn to differentiate between "good" strain such as fatigue
from "bad" strain that causes pain. If your feel any kind of pain or
tightening in your chest, irregular heart rate, dizziness, drowsiness or
shortness of breath, immediately stop your workout and contact your
physician directly.
Prior to each workout, perform a warm-up consisting of 5 to 10 minutes
of light aerobic activities such as walking following by stretching exercises.
Prior to EVERY use, be surely to carefully inspect the trainer. Never use
the trainer, if it is not functioning properly.
If you do not read and follow the safety guidelines specifi ed in these
operating instructions and in the video, this CAN result in SEVERE INJURY
OR DEATH. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM THE TRAINER.
The maximum body weight is 110 kg.
BE CAREFUL when climbing on and off of the device.
Use this trainer EXCLUSIVELY for the intended purpose as described in
the operating instructions. Do not alter the trainer in any way and do
not use any accessories, which have not been recommended by the
manufacturer.
Ensure that there is a generous amount of space behind and in front of the
trainer. It is important that children, animals, furniture and other objects
are kept away from the trainer while it is being used. You must ensure that
there is at least one metre of space both in front and behind the trainer.
Cover up the fl oor when assembling the trainer. Use during your workout
a double sided and anti-skidding surface. The trainer mustn't be shifted on
delicate surface (laminat, parquet fl oor, carpet etc.) to avoid damage on
the fl ooring.
Wear suitable clothing during your workout. Workout clothing should be
comfortable, light and allow free movement. Wear comfortable sport
shoes with good support and anti-slip soles such as running or aerobic
