Information

The Information tab shows the MINC+ details and information about the
network connection.
Under the Device heading:
• Incubator Name – Incubator name assigned by the clinic.
• Serial Number – Incubator serial number.
• FW Version – The firmware version for the MINC+ core control system.
• DishTrace MINC+ Version – DishTrace MINC+ software version number.
• Last Service Date – Date of the last service.
• Manufacture Date – Date of device manufacture.
• First Connected on – Date of first connection to network.
Under the Network Connection heading of the incubator:
• IP Address – Network IP address of the incubator.
• Connected – Date and time of connection of selected incubator.
• Duration – Duration of connection of selected incubator.
5.5.7 To generate a lid openings report
1. Under the Incubators screen, select the History tab.
2. Click the Report button. If the Report button is not displayed, click
the Reset button.
3. Select the start date for the report. The end date of the report must
be within three months of the start date. Click OK.
4. Select the folder or a drive location other than the Desktop or My
Documents folder to which you want to save the report.
5. Click OK. After the report has been successfully saved, a message will
appear. The report will be in PDF format.
5.5.8 To export a running log of the incubator
1. Under the Incubators screen, select the History tab.
2. Click the Export button. If the Export button is not displayed, click
the Reset button.
3. Select the start date for the report. The end date of the report must
be within three months of the start date. Click OK.
4. Select the folder or a drive location other than the Desktop or My
Documents folder to which you want to save the report.
5. Click OK. After the report has been successfully saved, a message will
appear. The report will be in CSV format.
5.5.9 Records
Dish records for all the MINC+ devices that are connected on the network
can be searched and viewed under the Records tab.
5.5.10 Search for a dish record
Dish records are displayed under the Recent Records heading, which
shows the Dish ID, Patient ID, Patient Name, the First Check In for each
dish, Status, Location, and the View column. To view individual records,
click the arrow under View for each row.
1. Select one of the following fields from the drop-down menu in the
top left-hand corner of the screen:
• Dish ID
• Patient ID
• Patient Name (first or last name only)
• Incubator Name
2. Type information into its corresponding field (e.g., Dish ID, Patient ID),
or type the beginning of the information to show all exact matches in
the dish records.
3. Select the required Start and Finish dates for the search.
4. Click the Search button to display the results. Click Clear to redisplay
the dish records.
5.5.11 Adding a new dish record
This option can be used to add multiple dish records. After the records
are saved, they are broadcast to all networked incubators.
1. Under the Records screen, select the Add button on the bottom
right-hand corner. The Add Record screen will appear.
2. Enter dish information into at least one of the following fields: First
Name, Last Name, Patient ID, and/or Dish ID. After the required
fields have been filled, click Save.
3. A dialog box will appear: 'Are you sure you wish to save the data?'
Click Yes.
4. A dialog box will appear to confirm that the dish record has been
created and broadcast to all connected incubators. Click OK. The
new dish record will be added to the Recent Records table with an
unassigned status.
5.5.12 Editing a dish record
1. On the Records screen, either double-click the row, or under View,
select the 'Click to view details' icon of the record row to be edited.
2. The Dish Record screen will open as shown in Section 5.5.13.
3. Select the edit icon on the top right of the screen in the dish
information bar.
4. The Edit Record screen will appear. Place the cursor in the field(s) to
be edited and amend the information as required.
5. Click Save. A dialog box will appear: 'Are you sure you wish to save
the data?' Click Yes.
6. A dialog box will confirm that the dish record has been successfully
modified and will be broadcast to all connected incubators. Click OK.
7. The Dish Record screen will reopen, showing the amended
information. Click the Return icon in the top left of the information
bar to return to the Recent Records screen.
5.5.13 Dish records and dish reporting
On the Records screen, either double-click the row, or under View, select
the 'Click to view details' icon of the dish record row to be viewed or
reported on. The Dish Record screen shown below will be displayed. The
Dish Record information bar shows incubation information associated
with the dish selected. The History tab shows a graphical temperature
profile with alerts for the incubation period of the dish. Hovering the
cursor over an individual alert marker will provide additional information.
The Events tab shows a list of events associated with the selected dish,
such as the dish being checked in or out, lid openings, and any alerts that
occurred during the incubation period.
