updated. DishTrace MINC+ is published by William A. Cook Australia Pty.
Ltd. and MINC+ will automatically confirm the validity of the software
during installation. If the publisher is different or cannot be verified
by the device, contact your service agent. An option to downgrade
the DishTrace MINC+ software to the previous version is available,
however should only be used under instruction from Cook Medical or an
authorised service agent.
To update the DishTrace MINC+ software:
1. Insert the USB drive containing the software upgrade files into the
USB port on the front of the MINC+.

5.4.24 DishTrace MINC+ screen saver
The screensaver is a Cook Medical image that appears on the center
console touchscreen every 6 hours when the touchscreen is not used.
It appears on the center console touchscreen for only a few seconds to
reduce image burn-in. The screensaver cannot be modified or disabled.
The two outer incubator chamber screens also display a black screen as
a screensaver for a few seconds, every 6 hours, if the chamber controls
have not been used. The screensavers will not affect the operational
aspects of the MINC+.
5.5 DishTrace PC software
The DishTrace PC software is a comprehensive software tool that shows
the status of multiple MINC+ incubators connected to a local network.
It shows a list and the status of all the active MINC+ devices currently
connected as well as any previously connected incubators that may be
currently offline. Offline status may indicate that the device is turned off
or has been sent away for servicing.
The DishTrace PC software must be installed in accordance with Section
4.13 to establish a secure connection between the PC with DishTrace PC
installed and each MINC+ on the network. Once the connection process
is completed, each device will be automatically detected when turned on
and added to the list of active incubators. If a MINC+ is later turned off, it
will still appear on the list but will be shown as inactive on the network.
For each incubator, DishTrace PC displays the status of the following:
• Incubator chambers
• Humidification flasks
• Gas
• Dish records
• MINC+ administration information
