3. The dish is checked out from the current position. The dish status
displayed will change to an outline of a circle or square, depending
on the dish type that was selected.
5.4.5 Check in a dish to its preassigned location
1. Tap on the empty dish location where the dish was previously
assigned. The following menu will appear:
2. Select the Check In Dish option from the drop-down list. The dish is
now checked in to its previous location. The dish status displayed will
change to a solid light green filled circle or square, depending on the
dish type that was selected.
5.4.6 Unassign a dish position
1. Tap an Assigned/Checked In or an Assigned/Checked Out dish
location.
2. Select Unassign Dish Position from the drop-down menu.
A second screen will display with the message 'Are you sure you
wish to unassign dish: x from the selected dish position?'.
3. Select Unassign Dish Position to confirm. The dish status displayed
will change to a empty black circle or square, depending on the dish
type that was selected.
5.4.7 Edit dish record
1. Tap a dish location that is currently assigned to a dish, even if the dish
is checked out.
2. Select Edit Record. The Edit Record screen will appear:

4. Select Save when the details are correct.
View and export a patient record
1. Tap a dish location that is currently assigned to a dish, even if the dish
is checked out.
2. Select View Record. The Dish Record screen appears. The dish
temperature history is displayed graphically in the Chart tab. The
Alerts/Events tab displays a list of alerts and events for the dish:
3. To save a copy of the patient record as a report, insert a USB drive
into the USB port in the front of the MINC+ to save the report. Select
Export Report, and choose the option to export the report as a PDF
or CSV file.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The USB drive that is inserted into the front-panel
USB port for reports and backup must be formatted to FAT32.
5.4.8 Lid open alert – Dish assignment
If Lid open alert in the Settings - General tab is checked, the dish
assignment menu options to check dishes in and out of each chamber
will be enabled, and is displayed as shown in the figure below. The dish
check in/out menu will be displayed on the opposite side of the screen
relative to the chamber that was opened, allowing the chamber contents
to remain displayed.
Assigning a new dish
1. Tap an unassigned dish location. A check mark will appear on the
selected location and the dish assignment options will appear.
2. Select Assign New Dish.
3. Enter the dish identification and/or patient details: First Name,
Last Name, Patient ID, and/or Dish ID. Any field can be left blank;
however, at least one field must to filled in to create the record.
4. Press Save to continue. The new dish has been assigned and checked
into the incubation chamber.
Checking in one or more dishes
1. Tap any checked out dish locations. A check mark will appear on the
selected locations.
2. Select Check Dish In.

2. Select Check Dish Out.
5.4.9 Records screen
The Records screen enables users to search, view, and export records
and reports. It also provides a scalable graphical representation of the
temperature logs for each of the incubation chambers.
To view a graph of the incubation chamber's history.
1. Tap the Chambers icon. The following screen will appear:
2. Tap the plus (+) icon on the top right of each incubation chamber
graph to show only the selected chamber. Tapping the magnify +/-
will zoom/expand the time scale.
3. Use the < and > icons on the top right-hand corner to scroll through
the recorded history.
