K-MINC-2000 Instructions for Use
5.5.5 To edit incubator settings
1. Double-click on the incubator to edit.
2. Click on the edit button on the top right-hand side (shown in the
screenshot above).
3. A new screen will open on which the following settings can be edited:
• Edit Incubator Name: Edit the incubator name in this textbox, and
click Save when finished. The characters allowed for the incubator
name are: 0-9, a-z, A-Z, -, _, (,), #, @, &. (Maximum of 20 characters.)
• Remove Incubator: This option will remove the incubator
from the incubator list and cause the incubator to no longer be
autodetected by DishTrace PC. To re-list an incubator that has been
removed, manually enter its IP address as described in Section
5.5.3.
• Resync Incubator Data: Any major change to the MINC+ database,
such as restore data from back-up, purge, or restore factory settings,
will require the DishTrace PC database to be resynchronized
with the MINC+ database. Clicking Resync will erase the existing
data from the selected MINC+ on the DishTrace PC database. The
incubator will require the secure connection to be established as
per Section 4.13.7. Upon resynchronizing, data from the selected
MINC+ device's database will transfer to the DishTrace PC database.
This data transfer may take some time and will happen in the
background.
4. To go back to the main Incubators screen, click the back arrow on
the top left-hand side.
5.5.6 View Contents, History, Events and Information
To view the contents, history, events and information of an incubator,
double-click on the incubator. The following four tabs will appear:
Contents, History, Events, and Information:
Contents
The Contents tab shows the dish layout for each incubation chamber
and its contents.
• Clicking on the green List View icon (top right-hand side of each
chamber field) expands the opposite column to show more detail on
each dish, such as Patient Name, Patient ID, Dish ID, Position, First
Check In, and the Stage of each dish.
History
The History tab shows the history of incubator temperature and alerts:
• The graphs show the events that have been logged for each incubator
chamber.
• The Date Range button allows the displayed date range to be adjusted
as desired. After the date range is adjusted, the Date Range button
will be grayed out and only the Reset button will be active. Selecting
the Reset button will restore the original date range and display the
Report and Export buttons.
• The Zooming and Panning functions described below also may be
used in combination with the Date Range button.
• Zooming: For viewing the data values by different timespans along the
X-axis, scroll the mouse wheel up or down over the graph that is to be
adjusted. Select Show All to reset the zoomed graph to normal.
• Panning: Each temperature graph provides an option to pan left or
right by holding the left mouse button down and moving the mouse
left to right , but this functionality is available only when the graph is
zoomed. The panning of the temperature graph will stop if there is no
further data beyond the time limit.
• The Report button generates a report of lid openings. Refer to Section
5.5.7.
• The Export button generates a CSV file with a running log of detailed
information. Refer to Section 5.5.8.
Events
The Events tab shows the events or alerts that have been logged for each
incubation chamber and any general alerts that have been logged for the
incubator:
• Event/Alert Details – What events occurred and where.
• Timestamp – When the event occurred.
• Time Acknowledged – When the event was acknowledged by the
incubator control system.
