4.13.7 Establishing a secure network
Once the DishTrace PC certificate has been imported into all of the MINC+
devices, a secure network can be established.
The following steps must be completed when DishTrace PC is run by an
administrator. Start DishTrace PC by right-clicking the DishTrace PC start
icon or selecting DishTrace PC from the Cook Medical program menu, and
then selecting Run as administrator.
At startup of the DishTrace PC program, a summary of the status of the
connected MINC+ devices will be shown at the top on the screen as one
of the following:
• Unlocked Padlock N – Where N is the number of detected MINC+
devices that do not have a secure connection.
• Online: N – Where N is the number of MINC+ devices which have a
secure connection.
• Offline: N - Where N is the number of MINC+ devices which have a
secure connection but are not currently operating.
To create a secure connection to the MINC+ devices, click the Unlocked
Padlock symbol. This will display a screen as shown below:

repository.

secure communication link will be created.
4. Repeat the above steps for all MINC+ devices in the list. As a secure
