Low tire pressure results in excessive
wear of the tires, poor handling, reduc-
ed fuel economy, and the possibility of
blowouts due to overheated tires. High
tire pressure produces a harsh ride,
handling problems, and excessive wear at
the center of the tire tread.
I CAUTION:
(1) Air pressure should be checked
when the tires are cold.
(2) It is dangerous to give the tires
too much air pressure. Pressure
should not be in excess of 2.2 kg/
c m (31 psi, 220 kPa).
