INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
3.2.19
Setup and Use the Advance Cervical Device
WARNING:
We recommend that a minimum of four caregivers
are available to help flip the patient. However, the
number of caregivers will vary based on the patient
weight and should be determined by the facility
staff for each flip procedure. Failure to do so could
cause patient fall, injury, or equipment damage.
1.
Put the table in the final position before you install the Advance Cervical Device
(ACD). Do not adjust or articulate the table after the ACD is installed.
2.
Push the upper end of the mounting latch to open the mounting latch.
3.
Put the ACD on the head-end bowtie and release the
mounting latch. The mounting latch will be even with
the housing when the ACD is secure. Make sure that the
ACD is secure on the top side of the bowtie.
4.
Push the Cervical Traction Release button. The assembly
moves out from the column.
