INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Chest Support
1.
Put the chest support in position on the Rail Top at a
location dependent on the patient's gender:
• Female—install the support so that it will be above
the breasts and below the clavicle paying close
attention to avoid the brachial plexus.
• Male—install the pad so that it will be across the
nipple area.
NOTE: When the support is installed, the indent should be
toward the foot end of the Allen Advance Table.
2.
Attach the Velcro® straps to hold the support in position.
3.
Install an Allen® Ultra Comfort™ Cover on to the support. Make sure that—
• The foam side of the cover is on the outside.
• The cover completely covers the blue material of the support.
NOTE: Allen® Support Pads are designed to work with Allen® Ultra Comfort™ Covers only.
Head Plate
1.
Put the head plate in position on the Rail Top at a location
to support the patient's head.
2.
Attach the Velcro® straps to hold the head plate in
position.
3.
Install the foam head block on to the head plate.
NOTE: The Allen® Head Plate is designed to work with the
Allen® Foam Head Block only.
Supine Access Tops (A-70404)
In some instances, supine access tops can be used on the rail top instead of the sling. To
attach a supine access top, do the steps that follow:
1.
Put the supine access top in position on the rail top.
2.
Use the latch clamp to secure the supine access top to
the rail top.
