INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WARNING:
When you unlock the flip handle, the lateral to prone
assembly will be free to rotate. Due to the
unbalanced load when a patient is against the rail
top, the lateral to prone assembly can rotate
suddenly. Do not unlock the flip handle unless at least
one caregiver is relieving the weight on the
mechanism by lifting up on the rail top. Patient injury
or fall and equipment damage can occur.
9.
Do as follows to unlock the support tops:
a. Lift the end of the flip handle (A) until it locks in
position.
b. Push and hold the red safety lever (B) forward as you
pull the flip handle (A) down to the released position.
NOTE: The manual flip indicator on the display turns orange to
show that the support tops are no longer locked in position
and they can be flipped. The pendant indicator on the display
turns off to show that you can not use the pendant controls
while the Allen Advance Table is in flip mode.
10. After the patient has been flipped, and the tops are level (the tilt level indicator on
the display is green), push the flip handle up to the locked position. You do not need
to press the red safety lever.
NOTE: The flip indicator on the display turns off to show that the support tops are locked
in position. The pendant indicator on the display turns green to show that you can use the
pendant controls.
11. Make sure the support tops are locked in position. If the tops did not lock, return to
