INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Determine which size hip support to use, and then do as
follows to install each support on the support top:
a. Put the support in position on the top. Make sure the
clamp side of the support is toward the outside of the
top.
• Thigh support—make sure the support will be in a
position to support the patient's upper thigh area.
• Hip support—make sure the support will be in a
position that is in between the patient's iliac crest
and the top of the pelvic bone.
b. Close the blue clamp on to the locking posts.
c. Slide the blue clamp to the locked position. When
locked, only the green area will show on the pin.
NOTE: Look under the rail to make sure the clamp is correctly
engaged on the locking posts.
2. Install Allen® Ultra Comfort™ Covers on to the supports.
Make sure that—
• The foam side of the cover is on the outside.
• The covers are pulled over the blue section of the
support only. The black section should not be
covered.
NOTE: Allen® Support Pads are designed to work with Allen®
Ultra Comfort ™ Covers only.
3. To remove a support from the Allen Advance Table, slide
the blue clamp to the unlocked position. When unlocked,
only the red area will show on the pin.
