Device Maintenance:
Make sure that all labels are installed and can be read. Replace labels as necessary by
using a plastic scraper to remove the label. Use an alcohol wipe to remove any adhesive
residue.
Contact us if you need to repair or replace the device by using the information from the
contact details section (1.3).
WARNING:
Only Allen Medical-authorized persons should service the Allen Advance Table.
Service by unauthorized persons could cause patient fall, injury, or equipment
damage.
We recommend that you do annual preventive maintenance on the Allen Advance
Table. An effective way to reduce downtime and make sure the Allen Advance Table
operates correctly is to do preventive maintenance.
The suggested Maintenance Checks below include specific items for you to examine.
3.6.1
Maintenance Checks
If any of these checks fail, repair or replace the part as applicable. If the repair or
replacement does not correct the problem, remove the unit from service and contact
Allen Medical Technical Support (refer to "Service Calls" on page 77).
The unit is clean and has been disinfected.
The unit is not damaged: the welded assemblies are in good condition and there are
no impacts or corrosion.
All attaching hardware is installed and correctly tightened.
All labels are installed and can be read.
The power cord is with the unit, and it is in good condition: the plug assembly shows no
signs of cracking, the plug molding around the blade is not discolored, and the blade
is tight in the molding.
