Adjust the Length of the Allen Advance Table
1.
If there is a support top on the Allen Advance Table, remove the top (see page 38).
2.
Unlock the brakes.
3.
Lift the cross tube handle to unlock the cross tube.
4.
With a person at each end of the Allen Advance Table,
adjust the length as necessary:
• Retract—push the columns toward each other.
• Extend—pull the columns away from each other.
5.
When the cross tube is fully extended, lower the handle to
lock the cross tube into position.
NOTE: To lock the cross tube, it must be fully extended.

Install the H-Brackets and a Patient Support Top
To install an Advance Pinless H-Bracket and a patient support top, go to "Install the
Advance Pinless H-Bracket" on page 39.
WARNING:
Only use Allen support tops with the Allen® Advance Table, the Mizuhosi® Flat
Top, Rail Top or Orthopedic Top. Patient fall, injury, or equipment damage could
occur.
WARNING:
Use patient support tops that are designed for the simultaneous use of tilt and
Trendelenburg or Reverse Trendelenburg only. Otherwise, patient fall, injury, or
equipment damage could occur.

Make sure the patient support top is designed for the simultaneous use of tilt and
Trendelenburg or Reverse Trendelenburg.
2.
Make sure the brakes on the Allen Advance Table are
locked (the locked indicator on the Allen Advance Table
display is green).
