INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Potential Equalization Conductor
There is a plug on the optional Air Pump for you to connect an
equipotential bonding cable. This will equalize any potential
difference when the Allen Advance Table is to be used with a
patient who has intravenous, cardiac, or other medical
equipment.
3.2.8
Install the Prone Support Set (A-71300) on the Rail Top
The Prone Support Set includes one chest support, six hip supports (two each of small,
medium, and large), two thigh supports, one sling, and one head plate.
Sling
WARNING:
Do not use the sling with the Lateral-to-Prone assembly. The sling does not provide
sufficient patient support for a lateral-to-prone transfer. Patient injury or adverse
surgical outcome can occur.
WARNING:
The sling is intended to provide a support for the patient's legs. We recommend
that you use additional pressure reducing material between the patient's legs
and the sling to help prevent patient injury.
1.
Lay the closed part of the sling over the support top rails.
2.
Connect the buckles.
3.
Adjust the straps as necessary for the amount of slack
you want in the sling.
Hip and Thigh Supports
NOTE: The thigh supports are side specific.
NOTE: For use with the Lateral-to-Prone assembly, only use small and medium sized hip
supports.
