Disturbance
Circuit-breaker cannot be moved
from the maintenance position into
the disconnected position
Circuit-breaker cannot be fitted in
the guide rails
When racking from the disconnec-
ted into the test position, the circuit-
breaker does not move during the
first 6 turns (approximately)
Racking handle cannot be
drawn out
Racking handle cannot be
pushed in
Panel door cannot be opened
(door interlock as accessory)
Cause
1. Racking mechanism of breaker
not in disconnected position
(note breaker position indicator)
1. Factory mounted coding of
breaker and withdrawable unit
doesn't match
1. Not a fault
1. Circuit-breaker is closed
2. Panel door not completely
closed (locking device as
accessory)
1. Racking handle is interlocked
1. Closed circuit-breaker is pre-
venting opening of panel door
2. Circuit-breaker in connected
position
Remedy
Rack the mechanism into
disconnected position
(green position indication)
Use breaker type according to
withdrawable unit lable
Rack further
Press "Mechanical OFF" button and

pull racking handle block out
Close panel door
Rack circuit-breaker into
disconnected, test or connect
position, unlatch crank and
push crank fully in
2)
Open the circuit-breaker
Rack circuit-breaker into test or
2)
disconnected position
