Les modules de protection contre les défauts à la terre des unités
de contrôle XZMU et XZMD offrent la possibilité de commuter d'une
temporisation constante à une courbe I
On obtient alors une courbe de déclenchement à temporisation
dépendante du courant avec une valeur I

I t -value, providing better selectivity of the earth-fault protection in

The setting possibilities for the time delay remain unchanged.

Switchover to the I t -characteristic can be made through:

– the t rotary coding switch (XZMU); which must be set to a value

in the white area.
– the graphical display (XZMD)
– the test socket with the parameter assignment module
XEM-PG(E) (XZMR, XZMD)
– the PROFIBUS-DP with a PC and the system-software
(XZMR, XZMD).
