12. Connect the power/data cable (A) to the P P r r o o C C u u i i t t y y cable adapter (C) (Figure 1).
13. Align the locking collar of the cable adapter (C) (Figure 1). Push to seat the connector. The locking collar will rotate into
place when the connector is fully seated.
14. Reinstall the headboard and footboard removed in step 7.
15. Turn the battery switch to on. Plug the bed power cord into a hospital grade protective earthed outlet.
16. Raise the Fowler to access the Fowler retainer holes (D) (Figure 2).

17. Thread the retainer strap (E) down through the Fowler retainer hole (D) both sides (Figure 3).
