Insulating
Insulation of the pump in heating systems and domestic hot water circulation applications
Single and twin-head pump housings can be insulated with commercially available insulation materials.
WARNING
Risk of burns from hot surfaces!
The entire pump can become very hot. When retrofitting the insulation during ongoing op-
eration, there is a risk of burns!
• Allow the pump to cool down before any work.
Insulation of the pump in cooling/air-conditioning systems
Single and twin-head pumps can be insulated with commercially available diffusion-tight insulation materi-
als for use in refrigeration and air-conditioning applications.
CAUTION
Electrical defect!
Condensate that accumulates in the motor can cause an electrical defect.
• Insulate the pump housing only up to the separating gap to the motor!
• Keep the condensate drain grooves unobstructed to ensure that condensate that devel-
ops in the motor can drain off unobstructed!
