not use for bread or dough containing fresh milk, yoghurt, cheese, eggs, fruit, onions or any other
ingredient which could deteriorate if left for several hours in a warm, damp environment.
Decide when you want your bread to be ready, for example at 6 am. Check what time it is at the
time the program is started, for example 9 pm. Work out the difference between these two times,
for example 9 hours. Use the increase/decrease keys (B) to move the timer forward or back by 10
minutes each time you press. For programs from 1 to 8 and 12, you have one hour of "keep warm"
in the time shown on the display (E). You cannot reduce the time required by the program. The
maximum time which appears on the display is 13 hours.
Once you have set the timer, start the appliance. If you use the timer for the dough programs (9 or
10), you must remove the product as soon as the program has finished, otherwise it will deteriorate.
During the "keep warm" hour, the progress meter will stay in the KEEP WARM position and the
appliance will emit a beep every 5 minutes to urge you to remove the contents. Try to remove the
bread as soon as possible.
FAST OPTION
You can only use this option with programs 1, 2 and 3. It allows you to save an hour of the time
required by the program, reducing the time when the dough is left to rise during the processes.
Note: Using this procedure, your bread may be denser ad rougher than usual and additional ingre-
dients may not be distributed in such a uniform way.
How to proceed: during the browning setting, use the button (Q) to move the browning indicator at
the bottom of the display (E) to the FAST setting.
STORING BREAD
Bread found on sale usually contains additives (chlorine, lime, tar colour agent, sorbitol, soya, etc.).
Your bread contains none of these, so it does not keep as well as bread bought from the shop and
has a different appearance. Also, it does not have the same flavour as shop-bought bread, it has the
taste that bread should always have. It is best to eat it fresh, but it can be kept for two days at room
temperature, in a polythene bag from which all the air has been removed.
To freeze home-made bread, allow it to cool, put it in a polythene bag and remove all the air, then
seal it and freeze.
POWER CUTS
If the power cut lasts less than 7 minutes, the program will continue when the power is restored. The
program time will be extended to compensate for the power cut. If the power cut is longer than 7
minutes, the program will stop. In this case, disconnect the appliance, allow it to cool down, remove
the breadpan, remove the ingredients, clean and start again.
ERROR CODES
If the temperature of the cooking area is too high (+50°C), the display (E) will read E01; if it is too
cold (-10°C), the display will read E00. If this should happen, the appliance will stop working and
make a beeping sound. Remove the bowl (M) and leave the appliance to return to room temperature
before trying again. If any other error messages appear, such as "EEE" or "HHH", we advise you to
contact your nearest Authorised Assistance Centre.
