Oil Change:

Drain the used oil while the engine is warm. Warm oil drains
quickly and completely.
1) Place the generator on a level surface and stop the engine.
2) Open the right maintenance cover.
3) Push the drain hole rubber cover out from the bottom plate.
4) Place a suitable container under the oil drain hole.
5) Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick and oil drain bolt, and
drain the oil into a suitable container.
Please dispose of used motor oil in a manner that is
compatible with the environment. We suggest you take
used oil in a sealed container to your local recycling center
or service station for reclamation. Do not throw it in the
trash, pour it into the ground, or down a drain.
Used engine oil contains substances that have been
identified as carcinogenic.
If repeatedly left in contact with the skin for prolonged
periods, it may cause skin cancer.
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water as
soon as possible after contact with used engine oil.
6) Reinstall the oil drain bolt and sealing washer, and tighten
the drain bolt to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 23 N . m (2.3 kgf . m, 17 Ibf . ft)
7) With the generator on a level surface, refill with the
recommended oil to the top of the oil filler neck.

8) Tighten the oil filler cap/dipstick securely.
9) Clean the oil drain guide and set the oil drain hole cover.
10) Close the right maintenance cover.
