Check whether the overload indicator is on.
Check the engine speed at no load.
Specified engine min
Eco-Throttle OFF: 3,300 ± 100 min
Eco-Throttle ON: 2,400 ± 100 min
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and check whether
the throttle valve is fully open and touching the stopper.
Restart the engine and check whether the throttle valve
operates.

Check the throttle control motor (P. 4-10).
Check the harness connecting the throttle control motor and
inverter unit for open or short circuit and for proper
connection.

receptacle. Check whether
foreign substance is blocking the
cooling air duct causing
overheating or whether the
generator is placed by the side of
a wall.
Correct if necessary.
Replace the inverter unit (P. 6-2).
Go to P. 2-47
Replace the throttle control
motor (P. 4-6).
Replace or repair the engine wire
harness.
Turn the ignition switch OFF and
then restart the engine and
recheck. Replace the inverter unit
if necessary (P. 6-2).
