IGNITION PULSE GENERATOR INSTALLATION
1) Install the ignition pulse generator and loosely install the
ignition pulse generator bracket mounting bolts (6 x 25 mm
flange bolt).
• Take care not to pinch the generator wire harness with the
ignition pulse generator bracket.
2) Insert a appropriate feeler gauge between the ignition
pulse generator and projection part of the rotor.
Air gap (at rotor)
3) Push the ignition pulse generator firmly against the rotor
and tighten the ignition pulse generator bracket mounting
bolt. Remove the feeler gauge.
b. INSPECTION
Measure the resistance between the terminal and the ignition
pulse generator base.
