WARNING!
Under NO circumstances should the System vest be washed in a
washing machine, submerged in water, tumble dried or ironed. This
may cause permanent damage to the System and cause malfunction.
Tip:
As part of the recommended two-yearly service, the System will be disas-
sembled and washed.
14.2 Base Layer Cleaning
The Base Layer (1) is considered to be the System WITHOUT including any of the electronic
components (Electronic Control Unit (16), wiring, and LED Display (2), Gas Inflators (15) and/
or Airbag.
After each use it is recommended that dirt and flies are removed by wiping them away with
a damp cloth or wet sponge.
WARNING!
Under NO circumstances should the System (neither BOTH fully as-
sembled nor fully disassembled) be washed in a washing machine,
tumble dried or ironed, as this may cause permanent damage to the
System and cause malfunctioning of the System. DO NOT WASH THE
SYSTEM OR ANY OF ITS PARTS IN A WASHING MACHINE, DO NOT PUT
IT IN THE DRYER, AND DO NOT IRON IT.
Before washing, it is necessary to remove some parts of the System, including the System's
electronic components, wiring and/or other components of the System, as described in the
next paragraphs.
In order to properly clean the Base Layer (1), as stated in the reported care label, the User
MUST follow the steps detailed below.
