Cylinders
Each cylinder (Figure 4) includes:
• Solid silicone elastomer inner tube with Parylene coating on inside and outside
surfaces (provides wear protection)
• Woven stretch fabric cylinder (located between the inner and outer tubes)
• Solid silicone elastomer outer tube with Parylene coating on the inside surface
(provides wear protection)
• One silicone, clear, kink resistant tube per cylinder
• One protective ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) sleeve per cylinder
• One 3-0 braided, nonabsorbable, PTFE coated polyester traction suture per cylinder

The cylinders are available in several lengths and diameters, depending on the model
number. Optional RTEs are provided and are attached to the proximal end of the cylinder
in a combination appropriate for the patient's anatomical length. The AMS 700 CXR penile
prosthesis may be appropriate for a patient with an anatomy that requires shorter and
narrower cylinders. It may also be useful for penile prosthesis reimplantation procedures.
MS Pump™
The MS Pump (Figure 5) includes:
• One pump bulb
• One deflation button
• Three silicone, kink resistant tubes (two clear and one black color coded tube)
• One internal lock-out valve designed to resist autoinflation
The MS Pump is used with all models of AMS 700 Series cylinders. The single, black
color coded tubing connects the pump to the reservoir. Clear tubing connects the pump
to each cylinder. In the preconnected systems, the connections between the pump and
cylinders are already made.

Reservoir
The reservoir (Figure 6) includes:
• One fluid storage silicone reservoir, coated on the inside surface with Parylene
(provides wear protection)
• One silicone, black color coded kink resistant tube that connects the reservoir to
the pump
• Two size options:
- 65 mL (spherical reservoir only)
- 100 mL (spherical reservoir and Conceal Low Profile Reservoir*)
