12 Overhauling the caliper mounting
12 Maintenance du palier de l'étrier
[31] Slide the reaction plate (T7) onto the threaded
spindle (T1) up to the brake caliper. The
chamfer must be guided into the hole on the
brake caliper and contact with a fl ush fi t.
[32] Screw on the nut (T6) while ensuring that the
reaction plate (T7) is properly seated.
[33] Turn the threaded spindle (T1) up to the stop
point to pull the guide pin (328) into the bearing.
If necessary, brace nut (T6) using a 32 mm
spanner.
[34] Unscrew the nut (T6) and remove the tooling.
[35] Insert the O-ring (355) into the fl oating guide pin.
[36] Insert the new bellows (354) and press them all
the way into the caliper housing.
Repair guide!
The bellow seat on the guide pin
(326, 346) and in the brake caliper
must be clean and free from grease.
[31] Faire glisser la butée (T7) sur la broche fi letée
(T1) jusqu'à son contact avec l'étrier de frein. La
portée cylindrique doit alors être introduite dans
le perçage sur l'étrier de frein et la surface de
contact doit être plane.
[32] Visser l'écrou (T6) en veillant au serrage correct
de la butée (T7).
[33] La rotation de la broche fi letée (T1) fait avancer
la douille de guidage (328) dans le logement
jusqu'à butée. Le cas échéant, serrer l'écrou
(T6) avec une clé de 32.
[34] Dévisser l'écrou (T6) et démonter l'outil.
[35] Introduire le joint torique (355) dans le palier
libre.
[36] Introduire les souffl ets neufs (354) et les
enfoncer dans le boîtier de l'étrier jusqu'à butée.
Remarque en cas de réparation !
Le plan de joint du souffl et sur la
tige de guidage (326, 346) et dans
l'étrier de frein doit être propre et
parfaitement exempt de graisse.
