Floating bearing (short guide pin)
Replacement
[21] Slide the ball bearing (T2), the press-out tool
(T4), and the press-in tool for the fl oating
bearing (T3) onto the threaded spindle (T1).
[22] Slide the new guide bushing (348) onto the
press tool (T5).
[23] Insert the tool into the hole for the guide pin.
[24] Slide the reaction plate (T7) onto the threaded
spindle (T1) up to the brake caliper. The cham-
fer must be guided into the hole on the brake
caliper and contact with a fl ush fi t.
[25] Screw on the nut (T6) while ensuring that the
reaction plate (T7) is properly seated.
[26] Turn the threaded spindle (T1) up to the stop
point to pull the guide bushing (348) into the
bearing. If necessary, brace nut (T6) using a
32 mm spanner.
[27] Unscrew the nut (T6) and remove the tooling.
Fixed bearing (long guide pin)
Replacement
[28] Slide the ball bearing (T2) and the press-in tool
for the fi xed guide pin (T8) onto the threaded
spindle (T1).
[29] Push the new guide bush (328) in the correct
position onto the fi xed bearing pressing tool (T8).
[30] Insert the tool into the hole for the guide pin.
Palier libre (longeron d'appui court)
Enfoncer
[21] Faire glisser le roulement à billes (T2), l'outil de
dépose (T4) et l'outil de pose palier libre (T5) sur
la broche fi letée (T1).
[22] Faire glisser la douille de guidage neuve (348)
sur l'outil de pose palier libre (T5).
[23] Introduire l'outil dans le perçage pour la douille
de guidage.
[24] Faire glisser la butée (T7) sur la broche fi letée
(T1) jusqu'à son contact avec l'étrier de frein.
La portée cylindrique doit alors être introduite
dans le perçage sur l'étrier de frein et la surface
de contact doit être plane.
[25] Visser l'écrou (T6) en veillant au serrage correct
de la butée (T7).
[26] La rotation de la broche fi letée (T1) fait avancer
la douille de guidage (348) dans le logement
jusqu'à butée. Le cas échéant, serrer l'écrou (T6)
avec une clé de 32.
[27] Dévisser l'écrou (T6) et démonter l'outil.
Palier fi xe (longeron d'appui long)
Enfoncer
[28] Faire glisser le roulement à billes (T2) et l'outil
de pose (T8) sur la broche fi letée (T1).
[29] Pousser la nouvelle douille de serrage (328) sur
l'outil d'emmanchement du palier fi xe (T8) en
assurant sa position correcte.
[30] Introduire l'outil dans le perçage pour la douille
de guidage.
