First Start-up

1. Before first-time start-up can take place, all the necessary components must be connected
(see Wiring Diagram Standard).
2. The device has a start-up wizard
The following parameters are prompted.
a) Language
b) MotorRatedCurr.
c) Protection Mode *
d) Mode (Modus)
e) Setpoint
f) Pband
AfterselectingLanguage,Motorratedcurrentand"Operating"mode"a"nominal"value"and then a Pband
are suggested respectively. The suggestion can be accepted in most cases. Later changes are
possible at any time after first-time start-up.
The first time the device is switched on, you go automatically to the Start-up menu. After selecting the
language, the possible mode variants are displayed first. Also see the printout in the display.
* Protection Mode
Protection mode is designed for controlling the speed of fans in safety systems. The focus is on ensuring the
longest possible operating time of components in an emergency, for example to ensure the longest possible
smoke extraction time in case of fire. Protective functions for the frequency converter and the connected fans
that can normally cause the system to shut down are deactivated for this purpose.

3. The first-time start-up wizard can be reactivated if desired.
To do this, press "Esc" (arrow "Up" and "Down" briefly together) until the "Start "menu is displayed.
With "P" you first go to the "PIN" selection.
