12. Place the attachment with the blade or underside
against the ground, press the attachment against the
ground, then carefully drag the attachment backwards
and forwards as shown in Figure 25. Check whether the
attachment is correctly coupled.
13. Connect any hoses or cables from the attachment to the
excavator, making sure that couplings and plugs are
clean and undamaged.
14. Before starting work, make sure that the attachment
cannot touch the machine in any position.
15. Check that the clearance between the CW quick coupler
and the attachment is within the tolerances specified in
Section 6.1.3.
16. When working with a attachment, the instructions that
apply to the attachment must also be followed.
17. After the 1st round of work, check whether the locking
wedge is still properly locked.
