3 TRANSPORT

If the CW quick coupler is not mounted on the excavator, it must be transported on a strong pallet. Place the CW
quick coupler with the front shaft and wedge retainers (1 in Figure 8) below, and make sure the coupler is
properly secured during transport.
The CW quick coupler may only be lifted with a lifting strap that has been passed through both front mounting
points (see 2 in Figure 8). Make sure the lifting strap cannot be cut by any sharp edges, and that the permitted
lifting load of the lifting strap and other lifting equipment is sufficient.
The CW quick coupler may never be lifted with a chain or steel cable, as this can damage the mounting points.
Report any damage to the CW quick coupler which occurs during or immediately after delivery to your supplier
and Eurosteel BV. Take all necessary measures to prevent further damage.
Contact Eurosteel BV if you are unclear how the CW quick coupler can be lifted or transported.
MAKE SURE THAT THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED LOAD OF THE MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION USED TO
MOVE THE CW QUICK COUPLER IS SUFFICIENT.
MAKE SURE THE CW QUICK COUPLER IS PROPERLY SECURED DURING TRANSPORT
