APPLICATION AND SPECIFICATIONS

The CW quick couplers described in this manual are exclusively intended to couple an excavator to an
attachment. The coupler may only be mounted on the excavator specified on the nameplate, or, if a quick coupler
adapter is present, only on the quick coupler system specified on the nameplate. The maximum permitted loads
on the CW quick coupler, the excavator, the optional lifting hook, the optional grapple suspension and
attachments coupled must not be exceeded!
The CW quick coupler is intended for use as a coupling described above in general earthmoving, road
construction, demolition, recycling and transhipment work at temperatures between -10 and + 40 °C. Eurosteel
does not guarantee that it will work properly for other uses or underwater unless the extra equipment required
for the purpose is present.
This CW quick coupler must never be used, with or without attachment, for moving or lifting people.
Only skilled personnel may carry out work with or on this CW quick coupler.
The CW quick coupler may only be used in the above conditions if all the safety requirements described in this
manual are met.
DO NOT USE THIS CW QUICK COUPLER FOR PURPOSES OTHER THAN THOSE DESCRIBED ABOVE. THIS
MAY CAUSE DAMAGE AND DANGER TO THE OPERATOR AND THE SURROUNDINGS.
THE ENTIRE USER MANUAL MUST BE READ BEFORE WORKING WITH THIS QUICK COUPLER, IN
PARTICULAR THE SAFETY SECTION.
THIS CW QUICK COUPLER IS CE APPROVED. CW QUICK COUPLERS MAY ONLY BE COUPLED TO A
MACHINE IF THE ENTIRE MACHINE AND ANY ATTACHMENTS TO BE COUPLED BEAR CE APPROVAL.
